Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Halal Lyfestyle LLC for using Outta What?.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Outta What?, and old enough in your country to agree to these Terms on your own. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By creating an account you confirm you meet these requirements.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details on your account, for keeping your password secure, and for everything done through your account. One person, one account. Tell us right away if you believe someone else has access to it.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos and words you post. You grant Halal Lyfestyle LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, resize and distribute that content inside Outta What? and in previews of the app, for as long as your content is on the service. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's work. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
Prohibited conduct
No objectionable content or abusive behaviour: no harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, graphic violence, encouragement of self-harm, nudity, spam, scams, malware, or content that infringes another person's rights. No impersonation, scraping, automated access, attempts to break security, or use of the service to break the law. See our Community Guidelines for the detail.
Contests and prizes
Each contest publishes its own rules, eligibility, deadlines, judging method and prize description, and those rules bind every entrant. Entries must be your own work, must meet the published requirements, and may be declined or disqualified if they do not. Prize fulfilment terms and any sponsor conditions are stated on the contest page. Where local law prohibits a contest, it is not offered there.
Memberships and billing
Paid memberships are billed through our payment provider at the price shown at checkout, recurring until you cancel. Promotional prices apply only for the stated period and only to accounts that qualify, then the standard price applies. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and taxes are added where required.
Advertising and sponsorships
Advertising and sponsorship placements are sold under the package, duration and disclosure shown at purchase, and are always labelled as advertising or sponsored. We review and may decline any creative that is misleading, unlawful or inconsistent with our community standards, and we may pause a campaign that breaches them. Advertising never affects contest results, voting or editorial selection.
Donations to organizations
Plate2Plate connects members with independent organizations. Donations are made to the organization, not to us; we are not a party to that gift and cannot guarantee a particular outcome. Fee disclosures shown at the time of giving apply, and organizations are responsible for their own registration, receipting and use of funds.
Disclaimers
Outta What? is provided as it is. Recipes, AI-assisted cooking suggestions, nutrition notes and member advice are for general information only: you are responsible for food safety, allergies, dietary and religious requirements, and for verifying anything you cook. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, and we do not endorse member or advertiser content.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Halal Lyfestyle LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost content, profits or data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from Account Management. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms or the Community Guidelines, if your account creates risk for other members, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and how to appeal.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Halal Lyfestyle LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
