How Outta What? reviews organizations before they appear on Plate2Plate.

Verification before approval
Organizations must undergo verification before receiving approved status. Depending on the organization, review may include state incorporation information, the legal organization name, entity registration information, employer identification number (EIN) confirmation where appropriate, authorized representative information, supporting organizational documents, payment recipient verification, and any additional documentation required for the activities requested.
What verification does not mean
State incorporation is not the same as IRS 501(c)(3) recognition, and approval on Outta What? is not government approval, not charity certification, and not a determination that an organization complies with any law. We do not label every nonprofit as tax exempt, and we do not promise that a donation is tax deductible unless the recipient's eligibility and the donation structure have been verified.
What an organization can have
An approved organization may have a public organization profile, a private organization dashboard, authorized administrators, donation campaigns, donor records, financial reporting, community announcements, impact reporting and, once the payment provider's onboarding is complete and its payout destination verified, an authorized payment account.
Scope of an organization's authority
Organizations may only administer their own records, administrators and campaigns. They cannot approve other organizations, see another organization's private records, or act for the platform. Platform approval of organizations, campaigns, sponsorships and fees remains with Halal Lyfestyle LLC, and organization administration is kept separate from platform administration.
Permanent organizations
A permanent organization record is a lasting recognition, not a temporary campaign or promotional account, and it is not automatically expired or downgraded. Any change to a permanent organization's status or fee arrangement requires an explicitly authorized agreement. Recognition of an organization does not mean its profile details are invented for it: mission, programs, website, address and contact details are supplied by the organization itself.
Fee arrangements
Each organization's platform fee is set in its own approved arrangement and disclosed to donors before a donation is completed. A reduced or zero platform fee granted to one organization is specific to that organization and never extends automatically to another.
Documents and private information
Documents supplied for verification are stored privately and are visible only to authorized reviewers and the organization's own administrators. EINs, bank details and private organization documents are never published. See the Privacy Policy.
