Camera-only capture
Food feed posts must be captured with the in-app camera. Ordinary camera-roll uploads, screenshots and stock photography are not accepted for food posts, and this rule is not relaxed. Capturing your own plate through the app is what makes the feed real.
Ingredient tags
Every food post carries the minimum ingredient tags required by the posting workflow — currently at least three. Ingredient discovery is how other members find meals they can cook from what they already have, so tags must be accurate, specific and complete enough to be useful.
Honest descriptions
Describe what you actually made. Do not claim a dish is something it is not, do not present a purchased or professionally prepared dish as your own cooking, and do not hide an ingredient that a reasonable cook would need to know about. Use the categories that fit your post.
Unsafe or dangerous instructions
Do not present unsafe food-handling, undercooking, contaminated food distribution or dangerous preparation practices as safe. Do not guarantee that a dish is free of an allergen, meets a religious or dietary standard, or is safe for every person. Where a technique carries risk, say so.
Prohibited food content
Deliberately deceptive food claims, dangerous preparation instructions presented as safe, fraudulent product promotions, stolen photographs, spam, harassment, and content intended to humiliate or target another member. Commercial promotion belongs in an approved business placement, not disguised as a member's plate.
AI Kitchen
AI Kitchen suggestions are informational cooking assistance. They are generated, never tested by us, and never a guarantee that a dish is safe or suitable for you. Verify allergens, dietary and religious requirements, cooking temperatures and safe handling yourself.
Reporting a food post
Anyone can report a food post, including dangerous or misleading instructions. The post is hidden from the reporter's view immediately and enters the moderation queue. See the Content Moderation and Appeals Policy.
