You own what you create
Members retain ownership of the photographs, videos, recipes and words they create. Outta What? does not claim ownership of your food photographs or your original creations.
The permission you give us
To host and operate the service, you grant Halal Lyfestyle LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display, resize, format, translate and distribute your content inside Outta What? and in previews or shares of the app, for as long as the content is on the service. The licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies already made in backups on their normal cycle or where retention is legally required. This licence does not let us sell your content or use it in advertising without your agreement.
What you must not upload
Do not upload stolen, unauthorized or infringing content, including photographs taken by someone else, recipes copied in full from a protected source, or material that uses another brand's marks without permission. Credit the recipe or idea when it came from someone else, and make sure you have the rights to everything you publish.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Outta What? infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@outtawhat.com identifying the work, the exact content complained of (a link or post reference), your contact details, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for them, and your signature. Incomplete notices cannot be actioned.
Review of complaints
A reviewer checks the notice against the content and may remove or restrict it while the complaint is assessed. The member who posted it is told what was removed and why, and may submit a counter-notice with evidence of their own rights. Repeated infringement leads to restrictions and then to account termination.
Outta What?'s own brand
The Outta What? name, logo and brand assets belong to Halal Lyfestyle LLC. Do not use the official logo or brand assets without authorization, and do not present an unofficial logo, badge or mark as official. Where a business or organization is a recognized partner, its marks are used only to identify that relationship.
Other people's rights
Businesses and organizations are responsible for the rights in the creative, images, names and claims they submit. By submitting creative for review you confirm you are authorized to use it and to have it displayed on Outta What?.
