Separate from platform revenue
Donations are separately accounted for from Outta What?'s operating revenue. A donation is made to the recipient organization and is not platform income. Where an organization has an approved zero-percent platform fee, no platform fee is deducted from its donations, and its donations are not diverted into ordinary platform operating revenue.
What a campaign must disclose
The recipient organization, the campaign organizer, the purpose, the fundraising goal, the amount raised, the applicable fees, the campaign deadline, the intended use of funds and the refund and dispute procedures. These are shown on the campaign page before a donation can be made.
Fees and processing charges
The platform fee for the organization and the payment provider's processing charge are shown separately. Processing charges are the provider's actual charge for that transaction and are never estimated, averaged or inferred: where a provider record does not yet exist, the fee and net amount are shown as unresolved rather than filled in.
Confirmed totals only
Donation totals reflect confirmed transactions. A pledge is not a completed donation and a pending or failed payment is never presented as money received. We do not fabricate donations, donor numbers, meals delivered, families helped or campaign progress, and impact statements are supported by actual records distinguishing pledged, processed and paid-out amounts.
Live donation checkout
Live donation checkout is not enabled until the payment provider supports the required recipient structure, the organization completes the provider's onboarding, the bank payout destination is verified, donation checkout has been tested, and donation accounting and payout routing are confirmed. Until then a campaign may be shown as a closed listing and any attempt to donate fails.
Receipts, refunds and disputes
Donors receive a confirmation consistent with the actual payment and recipient structure. Refunds and disputes follow the payment provider's process and the campaign's published procedure. A donation is not described as tax deductible unless the recipient's eligibility has been verified.
Fund My Lyfestyle
Fund My Lyfestyle is a planned community-support feature with a planned introduction in December 2026, and it remains Coming Soon until it is formally launched. It is not accepting applications or donations, and its eligibility rules, verification and payment procedures will be published before activation. It is separate from any organization profile and its campaigns.
