The Five Ingredient Challenge
The first major contest is the Five Ingredient Challenge. Its number-one ingredient is released when the contest launches, and the full requirements are published on the contest page before entries open. Where a contest is presented as a demonstration or mock, it is labelled as such and is not a real competition and carries no real prize.
Entry requirements
Each contest publishes the required ingredients, submission requirements, entry deadlines, eligibility and any technical requirement. Entries must be captured and submitted through the app, must be your own work, and must meet the published requirements. Late, incomplete or ineligible entries may be declined.
Judging and voting
Contest rules state whether entries are judged, voted on, or both, and the criteria applied. Voting follows the configured rules for that contest. Members must not purchase votes, use automated voting, create duplicate accounts or manipulate engagement, and sponsors cannot participate in or influence voting.
Prizes and sponsors
Prize details, the number of winners and the sponsor's identity are published before entries close. A sponsor is identified wherever a sponsored contest is shown. Prizes are awarded as described, and where local law prohibits a contest it is not offered there.
Spotlight placement
Spotlight placement follows the existing approval workflow and is selected by the platform. Paid placement is disclosed wherever it appears. Contest participation never guarantees a prize or a Spotlight placement.
Disqualification and disputes
An entry may be disqualified for breaching the rules, the Community Guidelines or the Food Content Rules. Where an entrant disagrees with a decision, the Content Moderation and Appeals Policy applies. Results are published for the contest and are final once the published dispute period has passed.
