Payment and Refund Policy
How payments are taken on Outta What?, what renews, and how refunds work.

Who you are paying
All membership, advertising and sponsorship purchases are sold by Halal Lyfestyle LLC and processed through our payment provider, Base44 Payments (Wix Payments). The organization is identified on your receipt. Donations are paid to the recipient organization, not to Halal Lyfestyle LLC.
Prices and billing cycles
The price, billing frequency, renewal terms and cancellation instructions are shown before you pay, and the amount charged is the amount displayed at checkout. The standard member plan is $4.99 per month. The 60-day membership is a single payment of $5.98 for sixty consecutive days with no renewal. Premium Business is $150 per month, with promotional founding offers applied only for the period stated at checkout. One-time advertising campaigns are priced per package for a fixed number of days.
What renews and what does not
A monthly plan renews monthly until you cancel. A 60-day pass, one-time advertising campaign or other single-period purchase does not renew, and no later charge is authorized by it. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. We do not change agreed subscription or payment terms silently.
Authorized charges only
We do not charge you without authorization. Checkout is completed on the payment provider's own page, and duplicate subscriptions are prevented where we can detect them. If you see a charge you do not recognize, contact us before disputing it so we can identify it.
Refunds
Refunds are considered where the law requires them, where a charge was duplicated or not authorized, and where a paid feature or placement was not delivered as described. Because a 60-day pass, an advertising campaign and a sponsorship are fixed-period purchases, a refund after the period has begun is considered case by case. Where a refund is issued it is returned through the original payment method.
Payment failures and chargebacks
If a payment fails or a subscription lapses, the associated access or placement may be suspended until the balance is settled. A chargeback is handled through the payment provider's dispute process, and access may be paused while a dispute is open.
Records and taxes
We keep a transaction history for each purchase — reference, product, amount, currency, status and dates — for fulfilment, refunds, accounting and tax. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise and taxes are added where required. A donation is not described as tax deductible unless the recipient's eligibility has been verified.
